Welcome to Level 4! Time to start exploring the World! First, your child will learn the importance of teamwork with Ant and the Secret Letter “A”. It is the ant’s job to keep the Pride working and playing together as one team. Your child will explore working together as he or she continues to learn through phonemic awareness in the Animals Of The World book and the “Secret Letter A” video. Use the tools for Ant and remember to encourage your child to engage with the online games and activities available, to review and reinforce the letters they have learned over the previous levels.
Teaching Tip:
Although it is great to provide unstructured playtime at home, children respond well to realistic limits, and these can positively affect learning. Using a small kitchen timer and setting up time limits can be helpful if your child is having trouble focusing.

Activities
Ants dig incredibly complex tunnels underground. Take a piece of large paper and draw a basic maze for your child to solve (if you’re feeling creative, you can decorate it to look like an underground path that an ant might dig). Working together as a team, give your child a marker and solve the maze as a team.
