The letters are activated, the Pride is back together, and your child just learned all 26 letters of the alphabet! It’s a great day for all, and you and your family should celebrate this success together. Although the letters have all been activated, the Sunmoona Pride is always in need of love and friendship. Today your child will read the final book in the series, activate all of the letters in the Pride, and become an official Animal Ambassador. Also use this day to take advantage of the tools that your child might not have used as often during the adventure.
Teaching Tip:
Finding time to learn with your child can be extremely challenging, especially when you are juggling other commitments and responsibilities. Try to think of creative ways to continue to incorporate the literacy learning process in your everyday life with your child. For instance, make your commute to and from school into “Mom’s School Bus”: use the commute time to search for new words outside, review letters and sounds, and listen to iKnow songs. The more it becomes routine, the easier it will be to continue and progress.

Activities
Animal Ambassador Ceremony- Give your child the satisfaction of accomplishment by making their completion of the challenge into a special ceremony. Your child will receive an official Animal Ambassador Certificate once he or she has completed the challenge to reunite the Sunmoona Pride Animals and their Secret Letters. Hold an “official” ceremony in front of your family to present the certificate to your child, and make sure everyone gives a big round of applause!

Healthy Snack
Alphabet Soup- Most grocery stores will carry alphabet letter pasta, and if not, you can easily find it to order online! Make a simple chicken or vegetable broth and add cooked alphabet pasta for a simple soup snack.
You can hunt for letters in the soup together! It is a great snack to finish out a long challenge of learning all the letters.
